Removable Expander Braces

Removable braces, sometimes called expander braces, are barely visible when worn. They help to widen narrow, crowded top jaws, giving extra space for the adult teeth to grow into the correct position avoiding extractions of adult teeth.

  10 mm widening with an expander brace, followed by fixed braces followed by “train tracks” gave a fantastic change for this patient who had a very narrow top jaw and poor bite at the start of treatment.
